Shonnah Anthon Photography

My name is Shonnah and I am a mother of two. I was born and raised in Charleston, so I know where the good shots can be taken. I have been in the business since 2002 and I enjoy every minute of it. I like to take photographs of my clients outside and not in a studio because its more natural and they can pick their favorite spot to be photographed. I worked in a studio for two years and have owned my own business for four years. I have found that photographs taken at your favorite place or a place that holds a special place in your heart returns better photographs then those in a studio.


I take family, children, weddings, engagment, beach, pets, fire service and landscaping photgraphs. I believe that the best pictures are the ones that you are the most comfortable and in your element. I recommend wearing clothes that you think you look the best in so if thats a ball cap and jeans then that is what you should wear to the appointment. Some of the best pictures with kids I have learned are by a water setting or a wide open park. Their expressions are countless and photograph so well.

I allow up to two outfit changes per appointment and four different backgrounds ( given the place). My prints are printed on waterproof paper, so you never have to worry about them getting ruined by water.

I can take any photograph and add special touches such as black and white, sepia, make it into a drawing or age the picture.
